About Dr. Mufson

Dr. Mufson received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine, GA - Magna Cum Laude and completed his Internship and Residency at University of Washington School of Medicine, WA. Dr. Mufson returned to Emory University School of Medicine, GA to complete his Fellowship in Diagnostic Invasive Cardiology, followed by a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology. He is Board Certified with The American Board of Cardiovascular Disease and The American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Mufson is a lifelong resident of South Florida. He was married for 22 years and has a daughter who graduated nursing school in August 2022. Dr. Mufson is a talented musician and artist. He plays the drums in his spare time and previously played the drums in a local rock and roll band that was made up mostly of doctors.
